Kirsten Tunink, M.Ed.
Partner Consultant: Special Education

Kirsten is currently the Coordinator of Student Achievement in a Colorado middle school. Kirsten is a former Special Education teacher with two master’s degrees, in Instructional Technology and in K-12 Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision. Kirsten is extremely passionate about special education, with extensive experience working with students in K-12 with a focus on severe needs, learning disabilities and social/ emotional disabilities. Throughout her 20+ years of experience, she has worked to be a partner with staff, with students and with parents. Her intentions are to always keep what is best for students at heart. She enjoys working with families, schools and students to develop individualized educational plans collaboratively in order to best meet the needs of the students.
