Megan Decker, M.Ed.
Partner Consultant: Special Education

Megan is a third-generation educator with 15 years of experience as a special education teacher spanning kindergarten through 12th grades.  Currently she is a special education teacher supporting students in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade at Global Primary Academy.  Megan holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and has completed Educational Leadership coursework.  She is passionate about advocating for special education students, utilizing multi-sensory teaching strategies in her daily teaching practices, and working with collaborative teams, that include both the school and parent, to create inclusive learning plans for students.  Throughout her career, Megan has led school and district trainings on special education topics, served as a data coordinator, as well as attended a variety of trainings and conferences related to general and special education topics.  In her free time, Megan enjoys traveling, hiking, and yoga.
